Summer Music Film Festival Agenda Recommended Image

When: June 28-July 2 2013

It's fun that the Music Box is showing Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure as part of its Summer Music Film Festival. It's extra fun that Bill is showing up. Actor Alex Winter is a director now and he's appearing on Sunday to present his documentary Downloaded, about the rise and fall of Napster. A slew of other great music movies—new and old—are screening as well. The five-day fest kicks off with a 4 PM screening of A Band Called Death, about the early-70s Detroit protopunks.
