Oil Lamp Theater returns to live performance with this outdoor, socially distanced revival of Lanford Wilson's 1980 Pulitzer Prize-winning two-character drama (the first in his "Talley Trilogy"). Lonely "spinster" Sally Talley, the daughter of a conservative Protestant family in Lebanon, Missouri, finds romance with Matt Friedman, a Jewish immigrant and accountant who offers her a life very different from the one she's settled for. The play unfolds in real time, set in an old boathouse on the Talley estate. Tad Ingram directs this production on the grounds of St. David's Episcopal Church in Glenview.
