Slick crowd, long waits, better appetizers than steaks.
The wait here for a table can be long with or without a reservation, but its time well spent in the spacious and elegant bar. Phil Stefani (of Tuscany fame) has created a truly swank scene on the ground floor of his bi-level steak house, full of beautiful people who look ready to spend. The appetizers at the bar are great: tangy pizzas, warm portobellos, incredible blackened shrimp. Unfortunately, the food upstairs is a disappointment. The swordfish, with polenta and grilled vegetables on the side, was just decent, and the filet mignon was insipid. Dessert doesnt offer much redemption.
