The third addition to the Western Avenue Thai strip.
Of the three Thai restaurants clustered together on the 4600 block of Western, this one, which serves Thai and Japanese food, is the best. All the appetizers we tried were good, but the great big leek dumplings deserve special mention: the batter, made with rice flour, was wonderfully crisp on its outer layer and splendidly gooey underneath, the leek filling savory and just slightly tooth-resistant. The tom kha kai soup, a hot-and-sour concoction made with coconut milk and lemongrass, was fresh and tangy. The yum neau (a green salad with strips of hot, seasoned beef) was fine. Service was friendly and efficient and all the hot dishes arrived hot.
