The format of this glossy 1980 horror movie is lifted in toto from The Omen. Charlton Heston plays an archaeologist who discovers the crypt of an evil Egyptian queen, and 18 years later has to cope with the queen's attempt to reincarnate herself in the body of his daughter (Stephanie Zimbalist). Many people die bloody, gratuitous deaths along the way, though rather boringly. This movie would have been marginally more tolerable if it had been filmed for $150,000 and titled “Don't Go in the Tomb.” With Susannah York; Mike Newell (Four Weddings and a Funeral) directed. 101 min.
