Amy Lockhart, a faculty member at the School of the Art Institute, favors brightly colored hand-drawn animations that resemble children's doodles and show the same innocence, energy, and blasts of disturbing surrealism. Her soundtracks mimic the sort of tuneless singing a toddler might use to drive you crazy. Despite this, her animated work is generally charming, though its spell is rudely broken when Lockhart tries to replicate the effect in two repulsively campy live-action videos: You're Eternal . . . and It's Party Time!, both featuring her adolescent character Miss Edmonton Teenburger 1983, are more reminiscent of a snarky college costume ball. Animations by Stefan Gruber and Trixy Sweetvittles complete the program, which totals about 80 minutes.
