To the editors:

For the last 20 years the progressive elements of the Episcopal Church have had to put up with the whining and complaints of reactionaries like Bryan Miller ["Is Nothing Sacred?" June 9] and John Jamieson. Well I have news for any sexist racist homophobic assholes who want to live in the 16th Century. This isn't your Church anymore! We don't want you here! If you can't get with the program get out! I have worked at the Episcopal Church Center for a long time and I know that even tho Bishop Griswold and the others agree with me they won't tell you but I will! Take your stupid "book of common prayer" and go climb in a cave somewhere! Get out of our hair! How dare the Reader print this bullshit, you're supposed to be so progressive! Who gives a flying fuck about Cranmer! It's a New Age, and if you aren't with us you're against us!

In Christ's Love,

Longtime employee
