The Last of Sheila | Chicago Reader

The Last of Sheila

Slickly plotted, classic formula thriller (scripted by Stephen Sondheim and Anthony Perkins) in which an eccentric and slightly nasty millionaire producer (James Coburn) invites a group of beautiful Hollywood types for a cruise aboard his yacht in the Mediterranean, with murder and other complications the inevitable result. Director Herbert Ross aims for a casual European flair, but his band of players hasn't quite got what it takes. With Richard Benjamin, Raquel Welch, Dyan Cannon, James Mason, and Joan Hackett (1973).
