The Nanny | Chicago Reader

The Nanny

A little boy begins to believe that his governess is responsible for a series of child murders. Bette Davis, in her late, self-parodying manner, is much too much in the title role, but Seth Holt's smoothly subjective direction keeps the campiness relatively in check. A tidy little thriller (1965), produced by Britain's Hammer Films. With Jill Bennett, William Dix, and James Villiers.
