David (Hugh Laurie) and Nina (Leighton Meester) are in love, but there's a slight problem: she's half his age, he's married with grown children, and their respective families have been friends for ages. If you think you've seen this already, that's because you have: its tale of suburban malaise (set in West Orange, New Jersey) draws on everything from The Graduate to American Beauty, and the cast is heavy with the usual indie-film suspects (Catherine Keener as David's wife, Oliver Platt and Allison Janney as Nina's parents, Adam Brody and Alia Shawkat as their kids). Julian Farino directed.
