The Perfect Picnic #4: Picnic Tote and Collapsible Bowl Member Picks

When: Wed., July 28, 6:30 p.m. 2010

Sure, a picnic basket is nice, but it’s hard to wash, difficult to store, and oh so cumbersome. That’s why in this G.I.Y. class we’ll be showing you how to create a picnic tote out of soft, durable upcycled materials! You will create a drawstring bag that’s perfect for stashing baguettes, bottles, and other yummy summer essentials. You will also take home your very own hand-crafted collapsible food bowl that can be recreated from everyday packaging waste. All materials provided, but feel free to bring scraps you may have from home. To register, visit the adult programs section at naturemuseum.org.
