The Power of Liz

Despite my growing hatred for Ms. Armstrong's holier-than-thou stance on corporate America, the ad industry, and anything leading to profitability; despite my patience being constantly tested by her hypocrisy and general inability to write an article without pointing out who she knows; despite the fact that my opinion of the situation is virtually the antithesis of hers, I would like to thank her for ensuring that Axe has gotten ten times the advertising money publicity they ever paid for [Chicago Antisocial, June 3 and 17]. I'm also pleased that corporate America's support of a local artist has been blown into a massive, attention-grabbing, citywide debate that will likely lead to numerous repeat performances by Critical Massive and other agencies. Dumb bitch.
