The Publican celebrates the Feast of the Seven Fishes early—and, well, not in Italy—with a five-course prix fixe dinner today. While dessert doesn't include any fish, the other courses have plenty of seafood, including bagna cauda with crudites and fried smelt; pickled shrimp, persimmon, and avocado salad with baccala crostini; saffron macaroni alla chitarra with squid and clams; and roasted red snapper in aqua pazzo with bouchot mussels (dessert is citrus panettone with creme fraiche ice cream and aged balsamic vinegar). —Julia Thiel
