To the editor:

It seems to me that Michael V. Timble should take up a hobby or something. If his letter concerning Elizabeth Weil's "Good-bye, Girl Friend" ("Sassy's Demise," June 23) is any indication, his ferociously pointless attack on the left (one, apparently, in a continuing series which apparently transferred over from the New City letters column) proves one thing; given enough belief in one's right to rant about his favorite target of derision, any idiot with half a brain and no understanding of the word "non sequitur" will do so to his heart's content. If Weil's piece offended him that much, I have to wonder how long it'll take Tom Frank to cause his pointy li'l head to explode.
