Brooding action hero the Rock and bratty comedian Seann William Scott team up for this overblown South American adventure, with Christopher Walken enjoying himself as a wicked gringo who exploits the local Indians. Walken wants the solid-gold cat statuette that Scott and the Rock have excavated out in the jungle, but the real conflict is between the big-budget production values and the two stars' painfully underdeveloped shtick. As straight man to the weaselly Scott, the Rock alternates between fussy exasperation and a blank slow burn, his comic timing as lumbering and methodical as one of his wrestling throw downs. Peter Berg directed. PG-13, 104 min.
