Artemisia Theatre celebrates the upcoming 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment with a trio of one-act plays. Evelyn Glover's A Chat with Mrs. Chicky and Miss Appleyard's Awakening concern, respectively, a conversation between a suffragist charwoman and an upper-class matron and the realization by an anti-suffragist of the folly of her ways. George Bernard Shaw's Press Cuttings satirizes the anti-suffrage views of conservative British politicians. Beth Wolf directs a diverse cast playing multiple roles across all three plays.
