The T.A.M.I. Show

Teen-Age Music International, as played by the Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Chuck Berry, James Brown, the Supremes, Jan and Dean, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, and Lesley Gore, captured live at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in the summer of 1964. Shot on videotape and transferred to film, this was the first full-scale rockumentary, and it's still a model of the genre, well paced and mostly in focus. Steve Binder directed. 123 min.
