The Third Degree

Dolores Costello stars in this silent 1926 tale of "a trapeze artist caught between a murderous mama, a disgraced playboy, and a brutal police investigation." The film marked the U.S. directing debut of Hungarian Michael Curtiz, who would go on to make Casablanca, The Adventures of Robin Hood, and many other Warner Brothers classics.
