The Tiger Makes Out

Murray Schisgal expands his one-act, two-character play about a cranky postman (Eli Wallach) who “symbolically” kidnaps a suburban housewife (Anne Jackson). This 1967 feature directed by Arthur Hiller uses New York locations and lots of cameos by character actors, including Dustin Hoffman in his first screen appearance.
