The Wages of Fear

When: Thu., Jan. 26 2012

A stark new print of Henri-Georges Clouzot's The Wages of Fear is finishing its run today at the Music Box. Centered on four European drifters paid to drive an inflammable chemical over a craggy South American mountain by exploitative U.S. oil companies, Jonathan Rosenbaum called it a "grueling pile driver of a movie [that] will keep you on the edge of your seat, though it reeks of French 50s attitude." Sounds amazing. —Asher Klein
