The White Gorilla | Chicago Reader

The White Gorilla

A zero-budget cut-and-paste thriller (1945), incorporating large chunks of footage from a 1927 Frank Merrill silent serial, about an ostracized albino ape fighting the king of the gorillas for in-group recognition (with the “fate of Africa” hanging in the balance, a voice-over narrator informs us). Harry L. Fraser directed; with Ray “Crash” Corrigan and Lorraine Miller.
