The Woman

Rated R 102 minutes 2011

A 1995 Hungarian feature about a peasant who hides her fugitive husband, condemned to die after the failed revolution of 1956, in a tiny space below the floor of her parents' duck shed. Filmmakers Janos Erdelyi and Dezso Zsigmond based this on a series of true events that also served them as the subject for a documentary.
