There Is a Happiness That Morning Is Agenda Closing (Theater and Galleries) Member Picks The Short List (Theater)

When: Thursdays-Sundays. Continues through April 7 2013

Theater Oobleck remounts its lauded play There Is a Happiness That Morning Is, about two university lecturers who are forced to justify their actions to students after partaking in an inappropriate display of affection. Justin Hayford wrote about the original 2011 production, "As in [Mickle] Maher's other plays, the characters here do almost nothing but explain themselves for 90 minutes. But the stasis is breathlessly urgent, as their fates depend on having their explanations understood and accepted."
