Dear editors,

Thank you so much for running Ann Sterzinger's incisive and insightful article on how Chip Davis singlehandedly ruined Christmas and country music ["Oh, Holy Crap," December 19]. She certainly is right about how it must be some sort of conspiracy, no doubt motivated by materialistic, greedy capitalists. Personally, I think we need some sort of federal government program to regulate this and force people to be more intelligent in their musical tastes. Then they wouldn't be as offensive and insensitive to intelligent people like you and me.

As a way of expressing my gratitude, I'd like to send her a gift of a carton of cigarettes and a bottle of whiskey. Where should I address the package?
