A father and son go head to head over the same woman in this 50-minute play written and produced by Jane Vincent. Unable to cope with the dishonesty of marrying for money, Trent flees the altar on his wedding day and heads for dad's house, only to find that he's interrupting a tryst between the old man and his own ex-girlfriend. Following closely behind Trent are the bride-to-be, dad's ex-wife, an appalling Magical Negro who alternates between offering pearls of wisdom and demanding “somethin' 80-proof," and a bunch of contrivances that neither Vincent nor director Iashea Cross make sense of. —Dan Jakes
