Traditional Jewish Foods: History And Meaning

Join us for a class on the history and backgrounds of many food dishes associated with Jewish culture and tradition, including Gefilte Fish, Kugel, Cholent and some of the customary holiday foods. Tasting samples of some of these foods will be offered. Presented by Rabbi Meir Moscowitz, Rabbi at Lubavitch Chabad of Northbrook and director at the Northbrook Jewish Learning Institute.
