To the editors:

This refers to an article entitled, "Tina and Rosie Don't Live Here Anymore" recently printed in your publication [April 22]. Although the author, Marion Karczmar, may be entitled to personal opinion of her former neighbors on Cleveland Avenue, however narrow-minded, snobbish, superficial and inaccurate it might be, she has no right to publish a slanderous, vicious, innuendo-filled personal attack and label it as the opinion of others.

My husband and I were neighbors of Tina and Rosie until they left Cleveland Avenue and we miss them. We enjoyed their generosity and friendship and admired their courage. They are very special women of true grit and great heart.
