Twin Town

Too many characters in search of a story populate this drawn-out sketch about filial love that adds up to nothing more than contrived irony. A pair of brothers in Swansea spend their time daring each other to get more wasted and wind up on the bad side of their dad's employer, who's mixed up with some corrupt detectives—while bodily fluids fly and animals get hurt. This pathetic time waster attempts to defy generic categorization by exploiting one of the most done-to-death pseudogenres—the Quentin Tarantino movie—and has the distinction of having no themes at all. Written by director Kevin Allen with Paul Durden.
