Two for the Seesaw

Robert Wise directed this 1962 comedy-drama about a Manhattan dance teacher (Shirley MacLaine) having an affair with an Omaha lawyer (Robert Mitchum) who's on the verge of divorce. Parts of the film were reportedly filmed in diptych form, in Panavision. Isobel Lennart adapted a play by William Gibson.
