Hell in a Handbag brings back several of their past productions in a socially distanced drive-in video presentation. The schedule is: August 21-22, Poseidon: An Upside-Down Musical (musical parody of The Poseidon Adventure); August 28-29, The Golden Girls: The Lost Episodes, Vol. 4—LOCKDOWN!, a digital version of the company's long-running parody of The Golden Girls; September 4-5, Caged Dames, a musical send-up of women-behind-bars melodramas; September 11-12, Bewildered, a musical parody of Bewitched; September 18-19, Airport 1970SOMETHING, a new show in which one of the classic 1970s Airport films is projected, with dubbing by Chicago performers.
Tickets are available for both lawn chair seating and vehicles. Prices are $40 for two patrons with "socially distant outdoor space"; $60 for four patrons; and $60 for a car with four patrons. Ticket sales end three hours before each presentation, and restrooms will be available.
