In this farcical road comedy, a struggling small-business owner (Vince Vaughn) goes to Germany to close a deal with a potential client, bringing along two hapless employees (Dave Franco, Tom Wilkinson) who are more interested in pleasure than in business. The role is a departure of sorts for Vaughn, his character more responsible than the goofballs he normally plays, but his frat-boy shtick has grown the worse for wear since the days of Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004) and Wedding Crashers (2005). Wilkinson, known for playing strong, malevolent types, is occasionally surprising in his role as an unhappily married guy desperate to cut loose, but the veteran character actor seems lost amid the directionless plot and unimaginative improv. Ken Scott directed; with Sienna Miller and Nick Frost.
