The 47th annual University of Chicago Folk Festival features three days of live music at Mandel Hall, 1131 E. 57th. A pass good for all shows costs $45. The event also offers free workshops and jam sessions on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM at Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 E. 59th. For details call 773-702-7300 or go to uofcfolk.org.
