Urban Assault Ride Member Picks

When: Sundays. Continues through Sept. 28 2008

This "funky bike scavenger hunt," a product of Josh Kravetz's Colorado-based sports marketing firm Adventure Fit, sends two-person teams biking around town, engaging in assorted stunts at checkpoints. Teams design their own routes; the rides usually run about 25 miles. Prizes come from a raft of eco-friendly sponsor companies. Last chance to register is at the packet pick-up Sat 9/27, noon-3 PM, at Murphy's Bleachers, where the promises food, drink, live music, and "lots more two-wheeled shenanigans."

Price: $65 per person
