For the next few weeks Sprout Home continues its Wednesday-evening spring lecture series on the ins and outs of urban gardening, providing advice on such essentials as testing soil quality and dealing with low light and an erratic climate. This week Joe Smolecki from Hoffie Nursery in Union focuses on native plants and grasses. Sprout Home staff members close out the series with talks on rooftop and deck gardens (May 16) and container gardening (May 23). The lectures begin at 6:30 PM and include free sparkling water and wine. Registration is appreciated but not necessary.
