In this sudsy German drama, a put-upon taxi driver in Cologne (Esther Zimmering) takes off for Rotterdam to collect her resentful younger sister (Kim Schnitzer), who's run off with a rocker boyfriend. Along the way the cabbie stops to rescue the victim of a traffic accident (Hannelore Elsner of Go for Zucker!), who's in a state of shock after being rejected by a married girlfriend. Director Angelina Maccarone presents the same events three times, shifting the perspective from the cabbie to the accident victim to the sister; the narrative device adds new information each time but also makes one wonder who can be believed, a question the shapeless ending does little to resolve. In German and Dutch with subtitles. 91 min.
