To whom it may concern,
I am writing on behalf of honesty, integrity, and the enduring fight against media bias. As I'm sure you know, Woody Allen has a new film coming out entitled Melinda and Melinda. Your critic Jonathan Rosenbaum has consistently slammed Allen's work without cause. His judgment is blinded by an unreasoned hatred of Allen as a person. It is time to separate the artist from the art. We humbly ask that the Chicago Reader assign another critic to review Allen's film.
The Chicago Coalition of Fairness in Film
Jonathan Rosenbaum replies:
You're too late--my review's in this issue. But I've never met Woody Allen and have absolutely nothing against him personally.
