Michael Miner's Hot Type on the Ozzie-Mariotti flap [June 30] is far too subtle to digest a basic fact, and that is that Mariotti is a two-bit hack. Mariotti not only does not comprehend the Chicago sports scene, he has no clue regarding any sports, in any venue, and it just so happens that baseball is his glaring weak spot, much to the collective dismay of many Chicago sports fans. What makes this especially galling is the fact that this buffoon has a vote on Hall of Fame elections. Mariotti has about as much credibility as a pickpocket in a nudist camp.
