"You want me to make a statement after they been torturing me?" ["Doe in the Headlights," July 21] And Hyman responded, "Get the jagoff out of here." So special prosecutor Robert Boyle regards Lawrence Hyman as "something of a victim," eh? A lawyer (and not just any lawyer either--a lawyer in the state's attorney's office!) who takes the confession of two tortured individuals without question and skips out on a grand jury subpoena?? He's "something of a victim," merely because he was the one that came down that day? Please! The real victim is the city of Chicago and its inhabitants, when they pay the salaries of people like Hyman and Burge. Poor Mr. Hyman: to even think that he would go to jail for not appearing in court on a subpoena, like the rest of us would have.
