Who's That Bigot?



To the editors:

As a Cleveland Avenue neighbor I have a number of questions about Marion Karczmar's article: "Tina and Rosie Don't Live Here Anymore" [April 22].

To begin with, who is Ms. Karczmar? No one on the block seems to know her.

Second, what kind of people does she associate with? According to her article, some are so mean spirited as to call two elderly women by school yard epithets, and others would go so far as wishing someone to "drop dead."

The real question is, why would the Reader see fit to print such an empty self-conceit, filled with malevolence, innuendo and blatant bigotry?
