Wing Fest

When: Sun., Feb. 27, 1-6 p.m. 2011

Organizers expect around 25 local eateries to compete at this year’s Wing Fest, which raises funds for Chicago Neighbors United. Restaurants compete in categories all the way up to “Best of the Fest”—last year that honor went to Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap—and admission includes all-you-can-eat wings, raffles and giveaways, and live music by Cadillac Dave and the Chicago Redhots. XRT’s Lin Brehmer hosts; he also presides over a “Lord of the Wings” eating contest.

Price: $24, $50 VIP includes drinks
