Woefully Cartoonish

I'll leave it to others more intelligent than myself to slice and dice Mr. Adler's woefully cartoonish characterization of the six-year-long Lebanese border dispute between Israel and Hezbollah ["The Home Front," August 11], but I would like to point out that there is only one type of ideology that suggests (even in parentheticals) that it might be "possibly dangerous" to allow dissent during a time of war: totalitarianism. It seems to me Adler may have more in common with Hassan Nasrallah than he cares to admit.
