The first American exhibition solely devoted to the work of Yannis Tsarouchis (1910-1989), one of a group of Greek artists who helped both portray and define modern Greek identity. Tsarouchis was widely renowned in Greece for his contributions to Greek culture in both the visual arts and theater worlds, and is also championed as a significant member of the Greek LGBTQ community.
