Tiny Japanese/Szechuan restaurant with a huge menu.
The Japanese and Szechuan menu is huge at this tiny Lincoln Park eatery, starkly decorated in black and white and housing only about ten tables and a small sushi bar illuminated by iridescent halogen lights. A vast selection of appetizers ranges from crab Rangoon to fried tofu with bonita flakes and ponzu sauce; Szechuan entrees include seafood delight (served in a crispy potato nest), cashew chicken, and Mongolian beef. Along with a broad offering of sushi and maki, Japanese dishes include the obligatory tempura and teriyaki or a combination of the two, along with noodles and soups. It's a cute and reasonably priced addition to this busy neighborhood; parking is difficult.
